Your ideas are welcome

Hello, fellow traders. I hope you find my ideas and setups interesting and profitable. You can always extend the length of the setups which I provide here. Like, for example, you could hold short Aussie longer for over 100 pips gain. I just provide a starting/tipping point and you can always apply your own creative work here. I am not always at my tradestation and I value the time with my friends and family more than the time spent with the whimsy market. It gives me a good balance between quality of trading (pips) and quality of life.

One important point: I post my ideas for educational purposes and not as a free signal-provider. My blog is fast approaching 2,000 visits and it has been here for 3 weeks. I do not throw links here and there and do not war in any marketing campaigns. My blog can not exist without your support and feedbacks. Jim, Kappa, Dropplan and Luke, I thank you for your continuous interest.

If your goal by visiting my blog is to take free signals for another 6 months or so, you've probably come to a wrong place. I just can't do it all the time because I spend a lot my own time on research as each transaction is an investment. I guess you were able to see the quality in each trade or setup. My major goal is to show you that patience and experience can work in this, seemingly, chaotic market. I can spend time (while I can) on this blog discussing your thoughts and will be happy to see your evolution as a patient an profitable trader.

You can post your ideas on some particular setups which you see in the market, please, provide your initial trade plan, why you think it should evolve into your direction and I will try to work with you.

In the meantime, I will post some of my trades.

Good luck.

Tamara, Is there a way to place charts in the blog. I would love to be able to give something back, especially if I got someone to critique them. Like for instance, my trendline on the 15 Min chart that I am trading on the AUD/CAD. As long as the price stays to the left of it I will stay in the trade. Right now I am up 38 pips looking to add a mini if it bounces off of my trendline again.

Tamara, 18:30 EDT
The name of your blog is appropriate as patience is one of the skills I need to work on. I have watched how you trade and learned a great deal about the virtue of patience. As you suggested, I have looked back on my bad decisions and they were based on impatience and the good ones on the ability to "hunt" a trade and wait for the kill. It is almost a sense of relief that has come over me... Thank you for your thoughts and I am still trying to understand the "IT" &"IB"..it just has not clicked yet.

ok. I just got back to my blog... What I will do is to see if the blogspot would allow posting here from another account, say "JimBlogger" and I will let you know. Yes, Dropplan, the virtue of a trader is to be The Observer, watch with fun how it evolves, how so many traders are almost "eating" each other with ferocity (just read "Cable Update" on FF and you will smile) and know your Hour to strike. Do not be fidgety as the other hunters will spot you and you are done in no moment. Ok? Will get back soon.

Hello All,

I'm a little leary about this one so I would like some comments from my fellow traders. I got the EUR/JPY coming up to a trendline on the 1 Hr chart. First two bounces formed the trendline and I'm hoping for a bounce as it is sitting up against the 89 SMA on the 1 hr. TF.

Tamara, I will do my best, but remember, I am just a novice. By the way, EUR/JPY looks like it may bounce at the Trendline on that 1 Hr chart, I am looking for a Bearish ebgulfing candle formation at the close of this hour and then I may give it a try.

S/L @ 166.09 IF I get a signal

I'm in, Nice engulfer, dont know what to target so I will target 60 pips although the last time it bounced off this trend line it went 200 pips in 24 hours. Good luck.

Good signal, but the price found support. Where did I go wrong here, Tamara. This seems to be my problem, getting out of trades. I dont have a problem getting in them....LOL Still in this one but pondering its future. I thought I was very patient in waiting for the signal.

Tamara, I got your email and I am thrilled and I hope I can live up to your high standards in your blog.

I learned a valuable lesson this morning. My EUR/JPY set up was perfect and I started second guessing my self and wandering where I could have gone wrong and all the pair was doing was testing the back side of that trendline. It rewarded me with a second and more powerful formation with an Evening star " Pin Bar " on the same 4 hr chart. If I need to do anything, it's trust my trades. I have been burnt so much that I am gun shy. I will be honest, I bailed on the trade at a loss, if we cant be honest, we can not win. So, I am resisting the urge to jump in now, and use patience and find another entry. I hope someone is benefitting from this setup.

I think I will have to modify the format of my blog and how we discuss trades or setups. Otherwise, I feel it is a bit messy and confusing for readers. Please, bear with me and I will get back soon.

Hi jim,

I was impressed with your TL and your setup. The price is currently frozen. Actually all Yen pairs moves are halted. It might be because of FOMC. Good luck with your trade.

Hi Tamara,

There are a lot to learn from your thought and attitude towards life and trade. I will try my best to contribute to your Nest in some way.
I know my words are not enough to convey my true gratitude to you. I hope if I were a native English speaker.

Hi Jim, Kappa,

I am currently testing a functionality on this blog to make it accessible only by the traders I choose. This way, when we go through some trades, mistakes and "therapies" no one else except our closed community will be able to view our private forum. I am sure this provide you with more confidence in your trades. Initially, I will welcome 4 traders and we can teach each other for 1 complete month as a crash-course. There is no fee attached as we shall learn from each other. Later on, we can always decide if we need to continue. Please, send me email stating your interest at tamkras@yahoo.com.
